Who can qualify for the program?

In order to qualify for REDEVELOP, students must meet ALL the criteria listed below. If you're unclear on anything please inquire.

Students must be enrolled in research-based graduate studies

Students must already have a graduate studies supervisor​

What's the commitment?

The program is structured around the REDEVELOP Challenge, where students showcase their final project.

The expected time commitment for each student is around that of a half-credit graduate course​

Students must work remotely on multi-university interdisciplinary preassigned student teams on a specific energy-related topic.

Student teams must present their work to an expert panel to be judged.

In collaboration with their teams, all students achieve the following milestones:

  1. Scientific/technical poster
  2. Public policy article
  3. Video to inform general audience
  4. Presentation to inform technical audience
  5. Team journal compiled by Project Manager, documenting Agendas and Minutes from weekly online meetings

Students are required to complete a variety of Professional Development workshops and webinars, online and in person​
