Numerical geomechanics modelling with an interest in rock tunnelling
Earl Magsipoc is working on his MASc in Civil Engineering with Prof. Grasselli at the University of Toronto.
He received his B-Eng (2017) in Civil Engineering with an Environmental Engineering optionat the University of Waterloo. After completing an internship at a geotechnical software development company, he was inspired to pursue a career in geotechnical engineering and tackle the the complexity it presents. He has also completed several internships in municipal engineering, highway transportation design, and tunnelling design. The focus of Earl’s research is numerical geomechanics modelling with an interest in rock tunnelling, and he is also interested in exploring the use of computer technology for engineering applications.
