Developing methods for microseismic data processing and modelling applied to unconventional reservoir characterization and hazard analysis of induced seismicity

German Rodriguez-Pradilla is working on his PhD in Geoscience with Prof. Eaton at the University of Calgary.

He received his MSc (2014) in Geophysics and his B-Eng (2010) in Civil Engineering at Universidad Nacional de Colombia. German’s current research focuses on developing robust methods for microseismic data processing and modelling applied to unconventional reservoir characterization and hazard analysis of induced seismicity. He is also interested in R&D work in microseismology associated with the exploration and development of natural resources after graduation.

German is also bilingual (English and Spanish).
