Mapping fracture networks in rock, numerical modeling of hydraulic fracture propagation, and hydro-mechanical and chemical response of rock
Mei Li is working on her PhD in Civil Engineering with Prof. Grasselli at the University of Toronto.
She received a M-Eng (2016) in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering and her B-Eng (2013) in Petroleum Engineering, both at Southwest Petroleum University in China. Mei’s research interests are mapping fracture networks in rock, numerical modeling of hydraulic fracture propagation, and hydro-mechanical and chemical response of rock. She has completed several internships in the oil and gas industry (Sinopec), involving hydraulic fracturing design and field fracturing implementation.
Mei is bilingual (English and Chinese) and is willing to relocate for the right position.
