Evaluating the feasibility of creating geothermal energy storage in deep georepositories that store waste
Wayne Park is working on his MASc in Civil Engineering with Profs. Dusseault and Leonenko at the University of Waterloo.
He received a BASc (2017) in Geological Engineering at the University of Waterloo (with Honours). Wayne’s current research focuses on evaluating the feasibility of creating geothermal energy storage in deep georepositories that store waste heat or solar heat on a seasonal basis. Wayne also spent 3 years in the oil sands working in mine planning/design and geotechnical investigation for residential and commercial buildings and infrastructures.
In his spare time, Wayne enjoys training in martial arts.
