Yu Wang is working on her MASc in Geotechnical Engineering with Prof. Grasselli at the University of Toronto.
You received her B-Eng (year) in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Alberta.
Her research focus includes geomechanical modeling using FDEM and lab testing focusing on effect of gas in pores during the rock deformation process. She has completed internships in the oil and gas industry (TransCanada and Trican Well Service Ltd.), involving well performance enhancement design and field QA/QC work on standard conformance for pipeline construction.
Yu enjoys reading, swimming and Sichuan cuisine.
